1. Tightly wrap the bacon strips around the organic hot dog.
2. Place the wrapped hot dog on a cold skillet. Cook over medium heat, turning frequently, until the bacon is crispy and evenly browned on all sides. Remove from the skillet.
3. Meanwhile, prepare the salsa: very finely dice the pickles and the red onion, and mix them together in a small bowl.
4. Slice the hot dog bun lengthwise (you can briefly warm it on the same skillet).
5. Spread the inside of the bun with ketchup and mustard.
6. Place the iceberg lettuce leaves inside, followed by the two slices of cheese.
7. Spoon the prepared pickle and onion salsa onto the cheese.
8. Place the hot, bacon-wrapped hot dog right in the center.
9. Sprinkle everything with the chopped hazelnuts (or crispy fried onions) and serve immediately.
