Long story short

Organic food often gets lumped in with "slow living," tree-hugging, and doing barefoot yoga in the morning dew. But those are just stereotypes. Take Mark—a busy city manager—who proves you can be eco-conscious, live life at full speed, and simply enjoy high-quality food.

Hey, Leo here.

When you hear the phrase "organic lifestyle," what pops into your head? Probably someone in linen pants who has all the time in the world to grind their own flour and meditate while waiting for their balcony carrots to grow.

Look, if that’s your vibe—respect! But let’s be real: most of us live differently. We’ve got jobs, deadlines, city traffic, and zero spare time. Does that mean "organic" isn't for us?

Total nonsense.

I want to tell you one important thing: there is no "organic police." Nobody is forcing you to hug trees or walk barefoot to the office. Those are just stereotypes that you DON'T have to follow!

Meet Mark

Mark is a buddy of mine—a project manager at an international corporate firm, glued to his phone and living on deadlines. Basically: Mark lives fast. Very fast. And yet… he leads an organic lifestyle.

How does he pull it off without the "slow life" vibe? For him (and for me), being organic isn't about a personality transplant. It’s simply about making conscious choices.

What does it look like in practice?

An "urban" organic lifestyle is built on simple rules that fit any schedule. Here’s how Mark (and I) handle it every day:

1. Shopping by the Green Leaf

Mark doesn’t spend hours reading labels. He doesn’t have the time. He walks into the store and scans the shelves for the Green Leaf—the European organic certification logo. That’s his GPS. He sees the certificate -> he drops it in the cart. He knows he’s picking a product made to high standards, in harmony with nature, and packed with flavor. Simple, right?

2. Smart Cooking

The organic lifestyle isn't about standing over a stove for half the day. Quite the opposite. When you have top-tier ingredients—like organic cheese, ripe veggies, or good cold cuts—Mark can whip up dinner in 10 minutes.

Pasta + organic oil + organic cheese = done. Organic bread + organic butter + radishes = done.

High-quality products speak for themselves, so you don't have to waste time with complicated seasoning.

3. Respecting the Product

This is probably the most important part. When you buy organic products that are the result of someone's passion, you just appreciate them more. Mark doesn’t avoid wasting food because "it’s a rule"—he does it because the food is way too delicious to waste!

The Verdict

You can run marathons, work a corporate job, and ride the subway while being totally organic. It’s not about slowing down (unless you want to!). It’s about finding a place in this fast-paced life for authentic quality and respect for the food the Earth gives us!
